Boutique Hotel in Sandton requires the services of a Facilities Manager to start on 1 October 2022. Facilities managers are responsible for the security, maintenance and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organisation and its employees. Good Facilities Managers are very perceptive of their surroundings and can identify the aspects of a company’s facilities that need immediate attention, and which should be serviced soon. They listen to the needs of the hotel guests and complete their work with their comfort and convenience in mind.

Successful Facilities Managers have a strong sense of urgency and don’t put off tasks, instead taking the initiative to resolve them as quickly as possible. They are excellent at delegating tasks to others and scheduling multiple types of services according to the business’ operations budget.

Matric & a formal qualification

As a managerial position, candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience in building maintenance roles.

Previous leadership experience in a 5* Boutique Hotel environment is essential.
